Why do we Care?!

The picture is of Omega Centauri, a globular cluster (or perhaps dwarf galaxy) in the southern sky. It contains perhaps ten million stars, about 17,000 light-years from Earth. It was identified by Edmond Halley, of comet fame, in 1677.

This is just one galaxy near ours, and there are thousands of galaxies. We are far from being alone in the universe, and as a 17th century writer once said, "all of the world is a stage, and we are merely players..."
Never have those words been so profound. My question to the earth, is that with each new piece of information we digest; with each change to our planet, what are its human inhabitants going to do?

A) Nothing,...

B) Ignore it until the very last minute, and then shoot something,...

C) Embrace a Spiritual identity, connect with others, and learn something new each day to enhance your human evolution,...

(heh, heh, ha, ha, ha,...) Sorry I actually almost believed there was another answer than, 'A'...

Hanny's Voorwerp and Star Wars

Today I quote others' and I am not creative enough to make up these obvious facts of the UNIVERSE FOR WHICH WE LIVE IN.

Remember from the beginning, the Universe is really really really big,...Huge,...

Galaxy Zoo images has discovered something really strange. The mystery object is unusually green, not of any clear galaxy type, and situated below relatively normal looking spiral galaxy IC 2497. Dutch schoolteacher Hanny van Arkel, discovered the strange green "voorwerp" (Dutch for "object") last year. The Galaxy Zoo project encourages sky enthusiasts to browse through SDSS images and classify galaxy types. Now known popularly as Hanny's Voorwerp, subsequent observations have shown that the mysterious green blob has the same distance as neighboring galaxy IC 2497. Research is Explanation: What is that green thing? A volunteer sky enthusiast surfing through online ongoing, but one leading hypothesis holds that Hanny's Voorwerp is a small galaxy that acts like a large reflection nebula, showing the reflected light of a bright quasar event that was visible in the center of IC 2497 about 100,000 years ago. Pictured above, Hanny's Voorwerp was imaged recently by the 2.5-meter Isaac Newton Telescope in the Canary Islands by Dan Smith, Peter Herbert and Chris Lintott (Univ. Hertfordshire). Other collaboration members include Matt Jarvis, Kevin Schawinski, and William Keel.

Now this comes from an ESPN sports writer;...

Another Voorwerp Found? TMQ has noted the creepy possibility that gamma-ray bursts, powerful energy spikes from deep space, are the muzzle flashes of awful weapons used in distant combat. Reader Chris Crooks of South Reading, Va., notes a creepy astronomy finding by Kyle Barbary of the University of California at Berkeley: SCP 06F6, a region where very powerful deep-space energy discharges appeared seemingly from nowhere, existed for about 100 days, then vanished. The strange energy glow lasted much longer than a gamma-ray burst, but lacked the technical characteristics of supernova explosions: "The transient's spectrum, in addition to being inconsistent with all known supernova types, is not matched to any spectrum in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey," which so far has mapped roughly one-quarter of the heavens. Cosmologists are now trying to puzzle out what SCP 06F6 might be, and assuming, of course, that it is natural. What if instead this is a glimpse of a region of ancient, horrific war -- ancient because it is billions of light-years away, thus billions of years in the past -- in which the combatants employed weapons too terrible to contemplate? Ancient combat that continued about 100 days until the last participant was wiped out, and the region of space fell cold and lifeless.

What can I say other than the world is much more important and interesting than, politics and beer,...
It's bigger and crazier than anything Hollywood can predict, and that is a mindset so few humans can handle,...

There comes a time when most of what each of us has experienced must be put aside, and a new process of thinking needs to take over,... a new open mind-ness of non-expectation,...changing the way each individual shall approach problems and distractions,...it starts from the inside and expands outward, (in the way the universe operates) ,...

Traveling to Marriage

This is a day I'm not sure would ever happen.

Yet, it is here, and I feel honored, excited and blessed.

A lot happens in every one's life, we all have ups and downs, things that challenge, teach, and help us grow. This I will imagine is THE adventure. There is the unknown and the known, marriage is one of the unknowns.
Traveling is all about finding the unknown. It is exploration and the ability to experience each part of the unknown. It is a journey and an automatic process of changing the unknown into the known. The magic is everything that happens in between and during the process. It is that experience that I look forward to and gets my adrenaline flowing.
Today I will be getting married to a girl named Marie,...she has inspired me and changed my life for the last five years. She is my support, my friend, and my cheerleader. She is my connection to the fairy world, and the keeper of my heart.
She is the one human who will drive me to tormented anguish while at the same time have me laughing and smiling the entire time. It is amazing to me to be at times in a very heated emotional argument with her and in an instant turn it into a temporary moment of complete irrelevance.

(All personal human debates are really inconsequential, and she is the only human I have met that understands that negative emotions are a waste of time, and only represent a supreme reluctance for each individual to grow from subject that they are arguing about, but she gets it.)
She is a ray of light in a what is becoming a very dark world.
Today, we will commit to each other to spend our immediate life on this planet to be with each other, to love and support, and basically keep each other company while we travel along this short ride.

As I write these words, I am smiling, and thinking that,...Life is good,...

Time and Distractions

Wow,...

Sometimes the everyday has a distinct way to remind each person living on Earth that time does not stand still.
It hasn't seemed like two months since I last blogged, but it has,...
The blogging does have everything to do with discipline and the daily ritual of following our own daily rituals.
Successful people always amaze others with their ability to maintain an organized regiment of doing the most boring stuff imaginable. Yet, that's exactly how they succeed.

Still, the very nature of our planet, and the universe is change is the constant, time is a real tangent, and evolution,... well that is up to each of us to decide.
Everyday we all make a choice to stay at the place where we are(meaning our life path) or to evolve, or change or (grow).
Then at sometime we get distracted from the big picture as we focus on immediate or smaller picture type of stuff. That's the moment of magic, and how time spins away, out of our control,...
That's the difference from focusing on the universe and focusing on just the earth realm.

There is time enough to follow both visions, and both ways of seeing and living,...
We must never stop doing our daily rituals, we must never stop giving Thanks, and still stay aware of our immediate obligations,...

So how did I loose focus, were did I spend my last two months,...just living,... oh that and I am about to live through the most ritualized, most sacred, and most talked of human endeavours,...
mating,..human pair bonding,...single male/female species commitment,...marriage. It's actually happening,...........

Places that are Gone but Not Forgotten

Living in two worlds

Running to the Sun

Giving thanks to the Fire
Giving Thanks to the Land

Giving Thanks to The Wind

No water easily to Live

Happy to Give

Loosing my Language

Children without Purpose

Needing to touch the Earth
Needing to sweat and Cleanse
Needing to see the Sky
Needing to Feel and Begin

Can not loose that which makes Life

Crying from a memory

Yerning for the Stars and my Center

Today is the day of Tomorrow

Depression, Censorship, and Time

This is only the beginning. War, famine, America's second great depression, its just the start. Americans live in the information age, yet, all of their news is censored. All vital websites are monitored, and the explosion of blogging is only to distract the majority of the population from searching for real information. Smoke, and mirrors. Statistics are given in portions, as not to alarm the masses of the real plight. Unemployment is almost 11% of the workforce, recession has been going on for a year. Americans have been at war for almost 7years and yet hear nothing about it. During the Gulf war it was everywhere, even in trading cards, oh I forgot, America won that war.
During WWII most of the German outposts had no warning before the D-day liberation of France. The Allied armies, and french underground successfully disrupted the news and censored all the information prior until the invasion. The Germans were essentially lulled into safety. Then BAM! Before they knew what happened it was over. Remember history always repeats until a condition has evolved past a turning point.
The best part of evolution is that change is usually for the better. The down fall is that disruption and destruction always come first.
The upside to all this censorship of the war, and economy has left the door wide open for information on the origins of the planet, space exploration, and ancient discoveries. So much knowledge is being discovered at this moment that humankind and its foundations are about to be slammed against a wall and all of the established orders will fall.
Economic depression is also a great equalizer. Only those with self knowledge and that are true in heart will succeed. The very nature of faith will be shaken, and all of the establish orders' long rule of hypocrisy will begin to unravel. Children of the new world order shall be awakened, just in time to watch it fall.

Its time to visit places of time. The peoples of the ancient civilizations were time keepers with knowledge rooted in the stars and planets of our solar system. Knowledge that goes back 8000 years are just beginning to be revealed, and it is far more superior to the knowledge our current people recognize. People of today have electricity and TV, yet peoples of the past had the knowledge of their environment and survival. We will get to see which has the ability to sustain humanity within this current era. Hitchhikers' get ready!

More to follow on the time keepers.

Wild Pleasures in Pennsylvania

There comes a time when we all need to embrace the darker side to our nature. It is this time of year when I think of travel to foreign lands, seeking the fruits of our spaceship Earth. Looking at travelocity, from Baltimore, USA to Argentina South America, round trip ticket is $649.
Yet, some of the nicest pleasures do seem to occur on the Eastern United States this time of year. Blue fin crabs are flowing in the brackish waters of the Chesapeake Bay, and in tributaries of Virginia, and North Carolina. Spring Green beans, Broccoli, and peaches are riping. Another sweet fruit mostly growing wild are the Black and Red Raspberries of Pennsylvania. Ahhh!
There is nothing more natural, satisfying, and pure then taking a small pale or container then gathering berries. Eating a few while picking is also a nice bonus.
Standing out in the cool afternoon breeze with someone close to you is an even better way to spend a day picking berries. Its special moments like these that will last me a lifetime. Maybe Argentina can wait until January. When it will be summer there.
Good Times,... Good times,...

Old Dreams for New Employees

The goal should always be for balance.

I talk of trust, honor, and dignity, none of which seem to barely survive in these times of tests. These are the things that built nations, territories and modern civilizations. As Americans we believe the values of these little notions, but in the information age have very few examples. Our society is severely divided between the the 'haves' and the 'have-nots'. We watch television to calm our thoughts and weep when we see goodness. Murder, theft, and misfortune are now commonplace we barely get upset when our political leaders cheat, lie and steal. The very things that used to be a summons for revolution only now get a glance of mention. The reason for all of this numbness is exhaustion.
The majority of American wealth is controlled by less than 3% of its people. Which means that the other 97% are working harder than ever before. When the nation of United States was founded many of its inhabitants all had equal chance for prosperity. At the same time, many people grew up with the knowledge of skills necessary for basic survival. If a person did not have the talent for living in modern towns, they could always go into the wilderness for food, and shelter. In today's modern society, there is no more wilderness, and too many rules to follow for basic living. When the people traded their lives of self-sufficiency for lives of electricity and grocery stores, liberty and freedom of choice became harder to find.
Yet, liberty is not today's problem that most people face. The ability to get basic needs, to feed, clothe and educate their children. are harder to obtain. More importantly, pride, dignity, and the sense of self worth.
Many people today work long hours at under paying, thankless jobs. Yet, they are grateful because of fear of losing anything less. Television and marketing have convinced people to maintain a certain lifestyle, and to live anything less would be disgraceful.
At the same time, television also paints pictures of dreams. It shows other people who have managed to succeed in living their dreams. We teach our children that to value their lives and to dream beyond the four walls for which they currently live in. The reality is that sometimes in order to get their dreams means living in the sacrifice of their personal beliefs. Often the quickest way to success is to go along with anyone one who is power of influence regardless of the values for which they live.
This sounds terrible, but it is the sacrifice many people make because no one wants to be made an example. The alternative for independent thinking is banishment from the community, economic hardship, ruin of reputation through lies, or all of the above. It is an punishment of the old world, meant to take away a person's pride. Their dignity, their self-worth. For people with children it is to high a price to pay when just going along will pay the bills.

Then, there are the dreamers, people who believe in honesty. The people who still believe that hard work is still the only way to success. They believe that treating people with respect is still a way to make friendships. Yet, for those people pride is a vice, and something not born from the status of their jobs. Self-worth is much deeper emotion. It comes from faith, and from self knowledge. To get this type of dignity requires each person to live a life free of guilt or regret. This form of pride comes from living each day with integrity and with truthful honest intention.

Working for companies and working for others is necessary for many who do not have the opportunity to live self-sufficiently. Yet, everyone has the ability to make a choice to find work that is fulfilling. By fulfilling I refer to work that may not pay the most, but a job that allows a person to be themselves without repercussion. A position within a company that allows for friendships, and the possibility for time off without worry of being replaced. One time not so long ago, working for others was a means to contribute to the community. It is this balance of family and work that most people want to achieve. It is the promise made to each child born in America. Yet, as with most promises some sacrifices must be made. People must sacrifice personal time with time spent in groups and community projects that hold elected leaders accountable for their actions against the community. People must sacrifice buying things that put them into debt for the sake of maintaining a lifestyle. People must sacrifice personal comforts for living a life with little or no carbon footprint. This is what most working people dare to dream.

The dream of a life lived in balance is never as far away as it sometimes may seen to be. It just requires a little effort to find.

Babylon and Limbo

How do we get there from here?

Sometimes I don't rightly know. I have always seem to find this place called limbo, and though being able to rest, relax, and smell the flowers is always preferable there are times when I just want to move. I don't mean literally, but in the cosmic sense of the world, and word, but I also know its out of my control.
I can push, but I might end up off track, and that's not a good place to be. I am patient, but when the car is in a gear and not in park, it can really mess up the clutch.
Right now small pockets of joy, just don't add up to lasting fun. Positivity is somewhat annoying, and the negative biscuit eaters are circling like buzzards. Its times like this that I can implode, or worst explode.

How long do we wait?

As long as it takes.

I remind myself that I am suppose to be learning something valuable. Feels like I'm wasting time. I was enjoying the rest spot, and as usual I don't stay nearly long enough to soak it all inside. Maybe if I learn to relax, I can retain the lesson. I know I will be here again. I'm a rock in the sense that I just cant see the picture staring right at me. I want to, really I do want to see, understand, and grow to the next level. I want to let go,...heel,...and feel again.
Yet, what I want isn't always what I need,...
What I need is to stop pushing, stop trying, stop moving,...give in, but not up,...
I'm saying all the right things, do I believe anymore,...if only others would let me be for a while, let me feel this out, give me the time to listen,...so much interference,...so much un-necessary noise,...so much negativity,...too much talking.

It is still the same after all these years,...

Texting our way to Preparation H

How disconnected are we becoming?
I sat and watched a group of high school aged people sit in a restaurant together at one table. Six of the group of ten were texting each other from across the table. Talking to each other but instead of using their mouths they did it with their fingers. I do use texting, but,...
Maybe it a generational thing, yet it seems sad. They all went out together, but they are as away from each other as it gets. Electronics have replaced direct interaction with spacial interaction.
How numb are we going to get?
I read an Internet article warning about dangerous domain names to avoid. It also identified various countries domain Id's, and where to and where not to shop for Prozac. Internet pharmaceuticals, I guess is very big business and this was an article on how to get drugs without getting your computer hacked. Obviously, so we can by more drugs later.
How long?
There is a new trend going on in clubs where male are rubbing their bodies with Preparation H. Apparently, it not only treats hemorrhoids, but tightens the skin. Guys are using it to look more buff to meet girls.

When I wanted to meet a girl, and wanted to dance, I asked. Then once I got her phone number instead of texting her I used the phone to talk to her, and when we went out we talked so more. To get notice I went with my friends and laughed very loudly. We played pool or darts, and talked with the other people around us. I would sit at a bar or along the counter in a diner, and meet people. I interacted, and sometimes it was awkward, and a little uncomfortable. It was always about being open, and really in tune to the environment that I was in. It takes practice, maybe a little courage, but I would practice sitting at the dinner table with my family, and sometimes by going out to dinner with friends.

I guess talking to others on a personal level is truly becoming an art form. It may explain the need for all the Prozac.

Stonehenge and the power of Peace

Life 5000 years ago wasn't great, but wasn't bad either. In Egypt the first pyramid was being built in honor of the death of its king and to its deity of the gods. The Chinese were building a wall to keep people from invading from the north. In the middle east people were inventing writing to help organize a fair exchange in trade goods. In Meso-America the first temples were being built to honor the gods and the planets. In North America mounds of earth were being built to honor the sun. All the people of the planet lived by sticks, wood, fire, and earth. On the Island of Great Britain, the united group of its people marked the height of its civilization with the building of Stonehenge.
All civilizations then lived a life in harmony with nature, and recognized that life was a celebrated gift, and that death was always just around the corner. Death from hunting, tribal warfare, or by accidents occurred just as naturally as it does today. Only today we live blinded by our technology and tend to take this life of ours for granted way to often. We entertain ourselves with acting, plays and skits on a wired framed box. At times that box educates us, and keeps us connected to others across the globe. Other times it perpetuates fear, and is used for propaganda to keep us in our homes and afraid of other people just outside our neighborhood or city. Stonehenge was a marvel of achievement not only because of its size and the unimaginable task built by using simple hand tools, but because of what it teaches about civilized people at that point in time. In some ways they were more civilized than we are today. The effort that took to build Stonehenge required a united group of people with a single minded purpose, all believing in the same ideas and done within peaceful cooperation. Soon after Stonehenge was built, new technologies were made, and ended the age of stone putting in place a world civilization of copper, gold, and iron. The eras of metal. Eras of greed I call them.
The area now known as Stonehenge was a sacred site site used by the people of 3000 B.C.E. to celebrate the seasons and honor life and death. The entire island of Britain would come together in summer and in winter to celebrate the solstices. They had built a wooded monument area for this purpose to celebrate life. The monument marked the seasons and was aligned with the rising and falling of the sun during the summer and winter solstice. It was a celebration marked with great feasting, and most likely just a chance for all of the 'British' people to come together as one nation. I say British because that is how we know them today, and I say nation because they were a people united in beliefs, and customs. At some point their tribal leaders organized an idea to build a stone monument. This monument would outlast the wooden one, and would honor the leaders who died, that taught the people how to live in harmony with the earth and nature. To honor this life, and because it gave all of the people a reason to celebrate their togetherness.
The truth is that once all a peoples necessities are achieved, life gets mundane or boring. It is as true for today as it was then. People all reach a point where life becomes comfortable, back then food was grown or hunted, and people prospered. When people have time to celebrate, life is a good thing. People also need to be inspired, by keeping busy, people are happier, and live with purpose. For whatever reason, most people need some sense of purpose sometimes they create things like crafts or art. If not they get into trouble or just unhappy.
The building of monuments, temples, or mounds, gave groups of people a purpose. It was also a way of leaders to lead. To push people in positive, productive, 'constructive' ways instead of destructive activities. Like war. Its the positive nature of being human. That is the 'WHY' things are built. The 'How' is the amazing part!
The most 'Important' part for us to learn, are the lessons from our common ancestral past. Life IS a celebration. Life is not to be feared and IS to be lived with purpose. We, as individuals, can choose that purpose, that 'thing', that gives each of us joy. When we achieve that 'thing', we become happy and can lead positive, inspirational lives. When we do that 'thing' in peace with others, we can build monuments.

Fire, and the voice of GOD

Something happened today; I heard the voice of GOD! Loud and clear. No confusion, and he said, "Stop, Drop, and Roll!"
Okay, its not the first time I heard things, but what is clear is I understand how most people confuse the word of the their creator with subconscious instructions meant for survival. All our lives since being small children, we remember these lessons, and they get buried into the subconscious of our being. So many influences of TV, friends, family, and just noise of our every day lives that we do not notice or remember what our brains retain or ingest. Then something happens, a trigger, a moment of clarity.
Its the same type of training that soldiers go through, and its very much like the repeated discipline that it becomes a natural response of a martial artist. Only when an average person responds its seems mystical, or spiritual.
Its doing the exact right thing in a split second that turns an emergency into a minor event.

Today I set myself on fire. It was an accident, more likely a stupid human trick of fate. I was in the yard and there is a pile of brush and sticks that need to be cleared. As with most of my solutions, I go straight to clear by fire. Only I didn't have any starter or lighter fluid so,... I poured some gasoline on the sticks. Took my propane torch and Whooosh, instant FIRE!
Well, the pile wasn't catching so I thought I would pour more gas on the other side, and before I did it I stood and thought this could be dangerous, and I wish I had some lighter fluid, but I went ahead and I think I dripped some on the left side of my clothes got a little on my arm, didn't think and as I poured gas on the side that wasn't burning, everything caught the flames.
I looked down and saw my shorts catch and in an instant watch as my arm hair flashed and saw my forearm catch on Fire.
I stood there for a second going,.. wow my arm is on fire,... huh,...Fire,...Oh, SHIT, I'm on fire,... ahhh,.. I throw the gas can,... started to run, and thought now what,,...then it came,.. in a loud voice totally in my head,..STOP,Drop,and ROLL! I was lying on the ground looking about and no more fire.
I looked at my arm and saw no hair! Then felt a sting, pain, and it registered I just burned myself, looked back, and nothing important was burning, nothing out of control, ...house,...go to shower, stripped and washed didn't wipe the the arm just let the water pour on it. I then calmly toweled,...and looked for burn cream, no burn cream, but had skin moisturizer. Slathered it on in goop's. AHHH, cool, ...after I got a cool drink I then settled on the couch.
I did get some burn cream from my fiance', when she came home. As it turns out, I do have some blistering, but mostly everything is minor. I can laugh at myself now, and everything seems sort of unreal,...I remember grade school sitting the the classroom listening to firemen teaching us what to do in case of a fire. I remembered. School was never a wasted event. I never stop learning, and always hope never to be in life threatening situations, but its good to know what to do. I remember giving someone the Heimlich while they were choking in a restaurant one time. I never thought I would be saving myself from,... myself.
She always worries when a travel on the scooter, now she is worried about leaving me alone at home in the back yard. (Shaking her head)
I just lost my ability or my person choice to make independent decisions. Everything must be presented to her before being preformed. Soon, I will not be allowed to dress myself before leaving the house, but that's a story for another day.

$5000 dollars

I had a glimpse into the future of humans. They died.
They went extinct and died because of un-natural regression, stupidity and failure to see past un-necessary decadence. There came a time in the United States when the class or wealthy system of capitalist corrupt by insecurity turned to inbreeding and waste. Yet, because they controlled the decisions of the country, the economy collapsed, and created a world economic disaster. Instead of wise investing and promotion of research on new ideas, innovation and solving humanitarian issues. The wealthy turned into themselves became self-absorb ingrates, and promoted their own bloated egos, and lifestyles. Many went to Las Vegas and drown in greed. Many fell into self induced comas.
The average working class had little alternatives, and became the new poor. The rich demoralized and corrupted banking. In the 1980's a CD saving certificate had a APR yield of 9% over 6 months. By 2008;

If someone buys a CD $5000 for 6 months 3.35%APR. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? 84 dollars

Gasoline jumped over 60% in less than a year, and no politician was impeached or executed.

The old poor could build a house with $5000, or just buy a house, or any number of used vehicles. $5000 was usually two months wages for most of the working poor in 2008.
So what else does $5000 dollars buy;

If you are a politician or business man in New York, these two girls for one hour.

Maybe you are a cyclist and just want a new bike.
Yet, in Las Vegas $5000 gets you a Hamburger.

If they can charge $5000 dollars for a hamburger, then there is a demand for it and that means more than one person is paying for this meal.
In Africa $3.00 buys a mosquito net so children can slept at night without getting malaria.
I once drove from Key West Florida, to the Columbia River Gorge in the State of Washington on $76.00 and two gas credit cards. That is across an entire continent people. That was in 1992. I spent 12 weeks doing it.
Global Warming, Arctic meltdown, and Pole Shift can not come fast enough!

Writing for Extraterrestrials

Everyday more people of the Earth discover the social networks of the Internet. The globalization of the mass media has shrunk the planet, and many of the Earth's people are just beginning to awaken to the ideology of interconnectedness. We have always been connected, and because of geographic short sightedness modern humans have not embraced this notion. Only now are people beginning to visualize this truth.
Most people only believe what they can see. Many others only believe the actions of people are able to speak or determine the true nature of that person. The saying is meant to define how personal interactions of people are more important than their words. Yet, now most people are beginning to use videos to express themselves. Good or bad, these videos speak volumes of the nature of people.
Everybody to one extent or another subtly believe that the universe was built around them. They believe that they are somebody of importance. Read any blog, and it is true. Every human wants to be heard. When very small they are socialized to believe that they can make a difference, they can contribute to humankind. Most universities, and institutions of higher learning are founded upon this principle, and find it necessary to perpetuate the fallacy. Yet, only a select few humans, be means of status or wealth fulfill this grandiose socially designed mission. The truth is that humans on a universal scale and independently, by themselves are very insignificant species. There have been several other more important species to live, flourish, and then die on this planet. The Earth is billions of years old, and humans are a mere blip, a passing moment in the time of the Earth.
The illusion of the Internet entertains us, and can enlighten the human race to achieve a more significant role in the universe. The Internet is a tool, to unite the people of the Earth. This union of people or the means to become a single collective of people is the most important thing the Internet can do. Unfortunately much of its use is for frivolous pursuits. Many people put themselves out into cyberspace without regard for who sees, or how it is to be used. Older generations of humans are very afraid of this form of exposure. They guard privacy, and remember times when speaking their thoughts could be used against them.
A very attractive female mayor in some town in Oregon, USA placed pictures of herself on the Internet. Harmless pictures in a bathing suit, a moment used to boost her own self esteem, and I'm positive her significant other approved. Yet, these pictures were used against her in some propaganda by jealous rivals to oust her out of a job. A debate of morality ensued and she lost her position as mayor. Ironically she did good things for the town, and did the job of mayor well.
The problem is emotions. Fear.
The coming changes for human societies are only going to increase. Climate change is real, and will challenge the people of the earth on their very need to survive. Communication needs will increase, and personal privacy is only going to diminish. Yet, until societies evolve some privacy and discretion is necessary for a time. Until the time when there are global moral codes, mutual understandings, and ethical behavior between all races of human, there can not be a complete abandonment of personal privacy. The time will come when this caution will not be necessary, and people will be able to freely express themselves without fear of repercussions.
It has to, because the Earth has lived a very sheltered existence within the universe. One day soon it will no longer be that way. Humans are not alone in the universe. They are also not the most important species. Humans must learn tolerance, or they will be exterminated. Climate change is not only about the human relationship with other humans it is also a reflection of the human relationship with its planet. I have been privileged to live in a generation of humans that were the best educated in the old system. Raised to do math without calculators, write in complete sentences, and challenged to reinvent modern human society. This generation has only just begun, and will not finish until the humans of the Earth are of one people of many colors. We also may live to see the end of times.

May Day and the Fairy People

Hah ha! I'm baaack. Been hanging out in the Fairy realm celebrating May Day. No easy task mine you, lots of supernatural transformations, dimensional trans-teleportation and plain old avoiding the black-hole pit traps set by under developed lesser species of fundamental hypocritical Christians.
I spent the weekend with a serious group of extra-terrestrial, who inhabit a piece of terrestrial space, they call Sproutwood, a organic co-op farm. It is a thriving experiment in communal living using a modern practical approach to sustainable community farming. Most of the organic produce grown on the farm is sold in local supermarkets on Earth. They promote practices that are teach Earth friendly living, and work with the outside community teaching classes on astronomy, solar energy, and straw-bale building construction.

Yet, hovering outside of the festival grounds in lower atmospheric space were protesters. One of their complaints was that global climate change is near, and the children tying ribbons around the maypole were anti-christian. Oh, and the over 100,000 people visiting were acting against God.

Twice a solar year Sproutwood farm celebrates living in harmony with the Earth. The beginning of the spring planting season, May day, with the Fairy Festival, and then again in the fall, with the harvest festival.

Well, it is a fact that May Day, which the children do enjoy with all vibes, is not an overly prominent holiday in America. Yet, it does have a long and notable history as one of the world's principal festivals. The origin of the May Day as a day for celebration dates back to the days, even before the birth of Christ. And like many ancient festivals it too has a Pagan connection.
For the Druids of the British Isles, May 1 was the second most important holiday of the year. Because, it was when the festival of Beltane held. It was thought that the day divides the year into half. The other half was to be ended with the Samhain on November 1. Those days the May Day custom was the setting of new fire. It was one of those ancient New Year rites performed throughout the world. And the fire itself was thought to lend life to the burgeoning springtime sun. Men, with their sweethearts, passed through the smoke for seeing good luck.

Then the Romans came to occupy the British Isles. The beginning of May was a very popular feast time for the Romans. It was devoted primarily to the worship of Flora, the goddess of flowers. It was in her honor a five day celebration, called the Floralia, was held. The five day festival would start from April 28 and end on May 2. The Romans brought in the rituals of the Floralia festival in the British Isles. And gradually the rituals of the Floralia were added to those of the Beltane. And many of today's customs on the May Day bear a stark similarity with those combined traditions.

Roots of May Day celebration in America:
The Puritans frowned on May Day, so the day has never been celebrated with as much enthusiasm in the United States as in Great Britain. But the tradition of celebrating May Day by dancing and singing around a maypole, tied with colorful ribbons, survived as a part of the English tradition. The kids celebrating the day by moving back and forth around the pole with the ribbons or streamers, choosing of May queen.

Fairies, according to the Scoto-Celtic belief, are a race of beings, the counterparts of mankind in person, occupations, and pleasures, but unsubstantial and unreal, ordinarily invisible, noiseless in their motions, and having their dwellings underground, in hills and green mounds of rock or earth. They are addicted to visiting the haunts of men, sometimes to give assistance, but more frequently to take away the benefit of their goods and labours, and sometimes even their persons.

Faerie : from the Latin term for "fate" (fata), faeries (or fairies) are a "host of supernatural beings and spirits who occupy a limbo between earth and heaven" (Guiley). This is in recognition of the skill faeries had in predicting and even controlling human destiny. Faeries could be either good or evil creatures, and at various points in history have been confused with witches and demons.

I guess this would explain the protesters. They were just "Dark Fairies".

Labyrinth prison

There a place that souls go when they are trespassing on the wrong plane. Its a place in astral space that soul watcher's put 'souls' in when they are not where they are suppose to be. Its like the ball room at McDonald's play land. Usually, they tap into your subconscious tell you to pee, and then you wake up very groggy, and usually wetting your pants or your bed.
This is the Dummies Guide from Labyrinth Prison.
The Labyrinth really isn't a prison for souls, but a area of conscious space set aside for the wondering, bobble-heads of Astral plane travel. Think about Harry Potter when reciting the wrong words when he was traveling by floom powder. He ended in the wrong alley way until Hagrid found him. Its similar in the aspect that there are entities watching over wayward 'beings', who haven't quite mentally developed or grasped, where the 'conscious body' (soul) is at, and why it is very far away from its terrestrial 'body' vehicle. After all humans are very confused on what exactly reality is, and how it works, never mind that fact that humans know very little about their "true" selves as beings.
A quick reminder; humans are many 'bodies' operating in a terrestrial vehicle (body) that live on many planes of existence. Unfortunately, most human behave and believe they live only on "Earth", and anything else is magic, nonsense, insanity, or angels and GOD type stuff. Wrong. Dreaming is an example of one of the human 'subconscious' (bodies) walking around for fresh air.
So believe it when others talk about the "Dream Police".
Now sometimes, they (dream police/'Astral entities'/watchers) will play tricks on repeat offenders (travelers), its a way of testing to see if you are legitimately confused, reckless, drug induced, or just not capable of unsupervised travel. Once they determine your conscious classification they will guide you onto the proper super astral highway or send you to Labyrinth prison. For your own protection. It can be scary if you are wrongly classified, or not picked up by the correct entity.
Sometimes if the wrong entity finds you they will cause serious stress on the nervous system. In small cases these people can entrap your conscious essence for a prolonged period of time. On this, the terrestrial plane, it is referred to as a coma. Paralyses, and in rare instances death for the living body can occur.
This is why drugs, are not to be tampered with in spiritual studies. They should never be experimented with unless there are cultural controls in place that train the user for a control travel. Traveling to outer or 'inner' planes is serious business. So, NO DRUGS!
The entities that live or 'operate' on those planes act as teachers, guides, and traffic control officers for the new traveler.
On this terrestrial plane, "Earth", there are organizations, and very ritualised studies that train people to travel safely into the astral and ethereal planes of consciousness. It takes years of training, mental conditioning, and concentration to perform these acts regularly. Rest ashore though as travel training starts out, and as it is in its growing stages for the beginners, there are many safety spots and various degrees of 'beings' looking out for new travelers.
So, if you find yourself trapped in a "dream scape", locked in a room with no doors or exits, just look for a bathroom, begin to wet yourself, and wake-up knowing the Astral police just released you from Labyrinth prison.
